Grace Women’s Group

IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING, but we are finally ready to kick off a new ministry group for the women of Grace UMC!  We will be holding an organizational meeting (two sessions with the same content to reach more people) on Wednesday, February 17 at 10 am or Thursday, February 18 at 6:30 pm.  Both meetings will be in the Narthex. There will be snacks, a short Bible study titled “The Bond of Friendship” and a time of discussion and planning for what we want this group to become.  Mary Ann Giampapa will be leading the first Bible study as a “kick-off”, and we will decided TOGETHER where we want to go from there.   Grace Women’s...

In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus sends seventy-two disciples out to offer his message of Love. Beginning next Wednesday in the Sanctuary, you are invited to become one of the 72.  Over the next five weeks, we will identify new leaders in our midst. You’ll have a chance to deepen your understand of biblical and Wesleyan principles that will equip you for ministry in the 21st Century. Would You Consider Serving on the Technology Team?

We have a huge need at Grace on Sunday mornings! We NEED people who are willing to serve in the technology booth on Sunday mornings during the worship service.   Sound, Lights, and Computer (powerpoints on the screens) are the three “spots” that need to be filled each Sunday. We will be TRAINING individuals who are interested in participating!!  If YOU or your student are interested, please let me know ASAP! We will be team training (3 at a time).   Training will occur IN THE BOOTH, from 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. Community Flower Ministry

Perenity Flower Ministry is an all-volunteer ministry that collects floral arrangements from weddings, social and community events, local gardens, local florists and churches. The flowers are refreshed and reclaimed and made into bedside arrangements by other volunteers and more volunteers deliver them to Avalon Hospice and other facilities to brighten the rooms and hearts of patients, their families and caregivers.
