AV Ministry Serving Roles
The AV Ministry is comprised of Audio/Sound Board Operators, Power Point Operators, and Photographers.
Audio/Sound Board Operator
Service Purpose: Create a pleasant listening experience for worshippers during morning service and special events.
- Responsibilities: Set up and check sound board.
- Quietly operate the sound board during service.
- Assist with special events as needed.
Responsible to: Self directed; input from Music Director
Service Blessing: You can use your technical operation skills to help others hear God’s Word and the Pastor’s message.
Skills/Gifts Needed: Interest
Time Commitment: Attend Sunday morning worship, special events as needed
Training Needed: 30 minutes with Music Director
Number of servants needed for this role: Unlimited
Power Point Operator
Service Purpose: Create a pleasant visual experience for worshippers during morning service and special events.
- Responsibilities: Set up the computer, check operation, load the presentation.
- Quietly operate the computer during service.
- Assist with special events as needed.
Responsible to: Self directed; input from Music Director/Pastor
Service Blessing: You can use your technical operation skills to help others read God’s Word and the Pastor’s message.
Skills/Gifts Needed: Interest, basic keyboard & computer operation.
Time Commitment: Attend Sunday morning worship, special events as needed
Training Needed: 30 minutes with Music Director/staff
Number of servants needed for this role: Unlimited
Photographer
Service Purpose: Photograph the church family during activities and events to share and promote the life at Grace.
- Responsibilities: Attend special events and activities.
- Copy the photos/video clips on a CD or thumbdrive and give to Church Office Administrator.
- Assist with special media promotions as needed.
Responsible to: Self directed
Service Blessing: You can use your photography skills to share with others the life at Grace.
Skills/Gifts Needed: Photography skills
Time Commitment: Attend special events and activities.
Training Needed: none
