The Web Ministry exists to create, maintain, and administer the web communications at Grace. The website you see was created by the Web Team. The team is comprised of the Webservant and team members.

Webservant

Service Purpose: The Web Communications team exists to promote through online media, the mission and work of Jesus Christ through Grace UMC to our congregation, community, and world.

• Responsibilities: Manage the content of the graceumcjackson.org website.
• Collaborate with the church administrator to keep the online calendar
  current.
• Partner with the church photographers to obtain photos of people at Grace to post on the site.
• Gather data from the pastor, office, leadership, etc. to post/update on the site weekly and regularly.
• Forward general email as needed.
• Update the site layout/design as needed.

Responsible to: Self directed; input from the Pastor and Communications Team

Service Blessing: You will have the opportunity to use your creative computing and administrative skills to keep our church family and community informed about how God is at work at Grace through our people, programs, and more.

Skills/Gifts Needed: Computer skills, Dreamweaver application

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week for updates and communication

Can work at home; flexible time. You set the update schedule.

Training Needed: Dreamweaver training, (2-4 hours) per year

Number of servants 1-3
